| Here For | school project | | About Me | There\'s a forteen uear old boy named Travis who lives in Texas.
Travis becomes the man of the house when his father and other
Saltlicks go to Abilene, Kansas. His mohter and little brother
little Arliss, and Old Yeller. This happerns after he has an
encounter with Old Yeller in his yard in the1860\'s .
Travis meets
Old Yeller after his old dog Bell who was killed by acting the fool
early in the story. When he meets Old Yeller, he was a bad impression
on him when he came with big ugly slick haired, one ear had been
chewed clear off, his tail had been bobbed so close to his behind it
was hardly enough to wag,and came romping toward him. \"Why you
theiving rascal\", Travis shouted and kicked him as hard as he could,
but missed as Old Yeller ducked.
Old Yeller screamed like he\'d been hit. Mama came running
out yelling \"what on Earth, Travis. Lil Arliss came out naked and
jumped on Old Yeller. But Travis still didn\'t like him. \"I\'ll find
a way to get rid of him, Travis said. There\'s is a bull fight, two
bulls named Chongo and Roany. So the Roan bull won because Chongo
licked a cartwheel that had bits of iron pieces on it, and he took
off all the hide from his tongue.
Then lil Arliss screamed, Travis
came and saw lil Arliss playing with a bear cub and tried to get out
the water as the mama bear came then Old yeller too there was a big
fight , then travis picked up Little Arliss and ran, Then it ended
Old Yeller ran away ,the bear was to far behind him then she started
backing up.Then Bud Searchy came with his grandaughter Lisbeth.Then
Burn Sanderson came Old Yeller`s owner turns out Searchy told him
they had him \"A big Yeller dog?\"\"Yessum\"Mama turned to me \"Son
call,Old Yeller,\"I stood stuck in my tracks.I was so full of panic I
couldn`t move or think .\"Go on,Son\" Mama urged \"I think Old Yeller
and Little Arliss are playing down by the creek somewhere.\"But
mama!\"I gasped \"We can`t go without Old Yeller .He`s~\"\"Travis!\"Then
Travis went to get Little Arliss and Old Yeller then Burn Sanderson
took Old Yeller,Little Arliss realized what was going on and had a
temper tamtrum he started throwing roks at Burn Sanderson .Mama had
to calm him down .
Then later Burn Sanderson made an offer with
Travis for his mother to make him some of the best food he`d eaten
Then he`ll give Old Yeller back . Then Burn Sanderson told him about
hydrophobia plague it was going all through out Texas Burn Sanderson
already shot two wolves,a fox,and a skunk.\"A woman had killed a
bunch of felines thet her kids played with.She wasn`t sure but she
couldn`t afford to take any chances.Burn Sanderson said So Travis started shooting at wild pigs.
Then Travis and Old Yeller got hurt,so Travis left Old Yeller
somewhere he couldnt get hurt and and then walked home, when he got
home he kept thinking about getting Old Yeller ,then he got his leg
doctured Old Yeller was gonna die if he didn`t go back for him so
they went and got him .After a while a wolf came for Travis so Old
Yeller went defense mode ,then Old Yeller got bitten in the neck and
got hydrophobia.then travis called him and put the muzzle on him and
got his gun put it to his head and shot him .then his dad finally
came and said he was manly ,proud,and brave of him.
